Frequently Asked Questions

Everything You Need to Know About Hueless & Teeth Whitening

General Questions

Is teeth whitening safe?

Yes! Our whitening products are enamel-safe and formulated to minimize sensitivity while delivering great results.

How long do the results last?

It depends on your diet and oral hygiene, but results typically last 6–12 months with proper maintenance.

Will teeth whitening work on crowns, veneers, or fillings?

Whitening gel only works on natural teeth and will not change the color of dental restorations. If your restorations are over a year old, we may be able to lighten them slightly, but not beyond their original shade.

Can I whiten my teeth if I have sensitive teeth?

Yes! Our products include desensitizing ingredients to help reduce discomfort. If you're highly sensitive, we recommend using the gel for a shorter time.

At-Home Teeth Whitening Kits

How do I use the Hueless At-Home Kit?

Brush and dry your teeth, apply the whitening gel with the pen, insert the LED mouthpiece, and let it work for the recommended time.

How often should I use the kit?

Use it daily for 5–7 days for the best initial results. After that, maintain your smile by whitening 1–2 times per week.

What happens if I swallow the gel?

A small amount is generally safe, but avoid swallowing it. If irritation occurs, rinse with water and discontinue use.

How should I store my whitening kit?

Keep your kit in a cool, dry place. Do not expose the gel to extreme heat or direct sunlight.

In-Person Teeth Whitening Sessions

How long does a session take?

A typical appointment lasts 40–60 minutes, depending on your starting shade and goals.

How many shades whiter can I expect?

Most clients see an improvement of 4–10 shades in just one session.

Results may vary based on individual factors such as enamel thickness, natural tooth color, and lifestyle habits.

Can I get a whitening session if I have braces or retainers?

If you have metal braces, wait until they’re removed. Clear aligners or removable retainers should be taken out during treatment.

How soon can I eat or drink after my session?

You can drink water immediately, but we recommend an "all white diet" for at least 24 hours.
